The main objective of the collaboration between HEC Alumni and Edflex was to be able to enrich the association's value proposition for graduates and to meet their challenges and needs as part of their Lifelong Learning.

About the context

Founded in 1883, HEC Alumni is the network of 80,000 graduates of HEC Paris courses, including 16,000 (of 130 nationalities) living outside France. The association manages several major missions, including an offer of professional support and personal development services, HEC Life Project.

All the services offered by HEC Alumni to graduates follow the concept of “We share, we care, we dare”; they must be able to respond to these three pillars.

HEC Alumni is the largest population of French alumni, and its wealth is due in particular to the diversity of services it offers to HEC graduates. It is by wanting to enrich this value proposition, that the association has developed a continuing education offer. This was first in partnership with HEC Executive Education, then strengthened with the implementation of the Edflex solution for the entire digital part.

What are the goals

The primary objective of the collaboration between HEC Alumni and Edflex was therefore to be able to enrich the association's value proposition for graduates and to meet their challenges and needs as part of their Lifelong Learning. The learning/training component did not exist and there was real work to build a complete training offer.

Setting up a strategy

The Edflex solution was implemented as an extension of the team and the existing training offer, the idea being to be able to have a collaboration between HEC Alumni and Edflex on the selection of catalog content. Also, there is a whole team of Learning Experts within Edflex, who support HEC Alumni every month to select resources.

The themes selected were first and foremost general (management, project management,...) then the project developed and content coming directly from HEC was integrated in order to launch a specific catalog and have a real customization of the portal. New themes are also available, with the integration of the AXA climate school in particular, in order to develop the skills of graduates.

In addition, the ease of use of the platform is an asset because graduates can connect to the HEC Alumni platform and have a direct link to the Edflex platform. Both in terms of content and ease of use, this is a real plus.

Analysis of the results

Today, with the help of Edflex, HEC Alumni is much better able to monitor the type of consumption and the behaviors of graduates on the platform and can thus adjust content more easily according to needs and expectations.

The main feedback obtained highlighted the richness of the content, and its regular renewal, which makes it possible to satisfy the curiosity and appetite of graduates.

An NPS of 70 can also be noted.
